Evening with Encore
You asked we, listened! After such an amazing Bank Holiday gig we have invited the incredibly talented Encore back to The Lion for a Festive performance. This time we will be gifted with the vocal talents from Gesine and Natasha! These wonderful ladies will be performing for us while we serve our delicious festive set menu!
Whilst this is not a ticketed event, tables will be solely for the use of booked dining guests.
Big Christmas Party with Priddice Brothers
The incredible Priddice Brothers join us for THE Christmas party of the year! We’ll have a beautiful set menu available, bubbles flowing and live music for you to enjoy! Our festive set menu will only be available on select days. 2 courses for just £35 and a glass of bubbles included!

DJ Adam "Decks" the Halls
Our resident DJ Adam will be back for an evening of fun and festivities. Playing us in to the last weekend before Christmas!
We will be serving our full December menu, please book a table to avoid disappointment.
New Year's Party
See in the New Year with us at The Lion! We’ll have the talented Ross Kirk playing live music and a DJ set to see us in to 2026! This will be a ticketed event only. Tickets can be purchased from The Lion in house. Will include food and a glass of bubbles to see in the new year.
DJ Adam
DJ Adam will be playing us in to the bank holiday weekend. Weather permitting, we’ll be sipping beers on the patio with music into the sunset. Dont worry though, we understand British weather so we’ll have a wet weather contingency plan!
Easter Sunday
We’ll be serving delicious roast leg of lamb, alongside beef and pork. Always best to book a table as we fill up fast. This year we will be running a colouring in competition for the little ones.
Cheese and Wine Tasting Evening

Mothering Sunday
As with past years we shall be celebrating Mother’s Day with a traditional Sunday Roast. Booking is essential as we fill up fast. Call or book online to secure your place.
Book Club Meeting
Due to Mothering Sunday we will be holding this month’s meeting a week early. March’s book is We’ll Prescribe You a Cat by Syou Ishida. Meet on 23rd March at 7pm.

Valentines at The Lion
We will be celebrating Valentine’s at the Lion on both Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th February. We have a beautiful set menu, and will be offering sharing specials. Our specials & set menu will run evening service only.
We understand, Valentine’s isn’t for everyone so we will continue to run our à la carte menu for those of you who want to enjoy our tasty fish and chips!
